Jackie Jeanne' O'Dell Peroutka, daughter of Shirley Faye Woods Jameson and William "Billy" O'Dell, was born February 11, 1967, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, and departed this life on March 25, 2011, at her residence in Grandin. She had attained the age of 44 years, one month and fourteen days. Jackie had lived in Grandin since 2004 and grew up in Ellsinore. In 2004 Jackie was injured by a tornado, which left her a quadriplegic. Prior to Jackie's injuries, she had received her CDL's and had plans to take a position as an over the road truck driver with her beloved Michael. As a child, Jackie was a member of First Baptist Church of Ellsinore and in 2006 she re-dedicated her life to the Lord and was re-baptized in the Grandin United Holy Pentecostal Church. Jackie enjoyed cross-stitching, collecting old glassware and arrowheads, floating the Current River and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Survivors include her beloved, Michael Drummond of Grandin; her parents, Shirley Jameson of Grandin, and Billy and Linda O'Dell of Balco, Oklahoma; her two children, Joseph Yancey of St. Louis and Rebecca White of Mill Springs; her two sisters, Valerie Jameson-Hobeck of Perryville and Tara Jameson of Ellsinore; her three grandchildren, Brooklyn Brewer, Maddix White and Jackson White of Mill Springs; and her son-in-law, Billy White of Mill Springs. She is mourned by many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Jack and Eva Woods of Ellsinore; her paternal grandparents, William and Melvina O'Dell of Poplar Bluff, and her step-father, Jimmy Dale Jameson of Poplar Bluff. Visitation will be held Sunday evening, March 27, 2011, from 5 - 8 p.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday morning, March 28, 2011, at the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Belleview Cemetery.
