Glenn E. Roundtree 79, of Doniphan, MO. passed away peacefully at his home January 17, 2014 after a brief illness.
He was born to Carl & Dortha Roundtree August 15, 1934 on the family farm, in a small log cabin in Oxly, MO.
He retired from the Budd Company in Indiana and Returned home to Missouri in 1983.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years Ruth (Cochran) Roundtree, three daughters Carolan Masters (Don) of Alabama, Jeanette Powers (Phill) of Mississippi and Maureen Roundtree of Utah, step-children Rick Murray (Chris) of Dexter, Robin Vickers (Hal) of Doniphan, Russell Murray (Tonya) of Michigan, 9 grandchildren & 6 great-grandchildren, two sisters Phyllis Cannon (Charles) Alice Warner (Ed) both of Doniphan numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Mr. Roundtree was preceded in death by his parents and infant daughter Charolett Ann Roundtree.
Mr. Roundtree loved family, socializing, cars and the family farm. Mr. Roundtree was a veteran of the United States Army.
Visitation will be Sunday January the 19th from noon to 2 pm the funeral service will be Sunday January the 19th at 2 pm with Bro. Randy Miller officiating. Burial will be in the Antioch Cemetery in Oxly.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Doniphan Nutrition Center.
