Noma Jean Chaligoj
Noma Jean Chaligoj of Doniphan died Friday May 30, 2008 at the Mark Twain Caring Center in Poplar Bluff at the age of 74. Mrs. Chaligoj was born June 12, 1933 in Grandin to the late Benjamin and Lillie Dean Parish.
Mrs. Chaligoj was married to Tony David Chaligoj on May 7, 1948 at Pocahontas, Ark. who preceded her in death on May 18, 2000.
Survivors include four daughters; Barbara Hastings of Doniphan; Vickey Rogers of Nixa; Charlotte Crumley of Doniphan and Pamela Swift of Van Buren; seven grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. Other survivors include one sister Jewel Gotthardt of Piggott, Ark.
Noma loved her family and enjoyed to go camping and fishing. She was of the Free Will Baptist Church faith.
Visitation will be Sunday June 1, 2008 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan with the funeral service to be Monday June 2 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with interment at the Macedonia cemetery with Kenneth L. McAnulty of the Christian Family Fellowship International in Poplar Bluff officiating.
