Alex Steininger Obituary

Alex A. Steininger, 68, of Fairdealing, Missouri, died Thursday, May 22, 2008, at his residence.



Mr. Steininger was born December 29, 1939, in Brooklyn, New York. He had been a mail carrier with the U. S. Postal Service. Mr. Steininger was a member of St. Benedict's Catholic Church and enjoyed cooking, especially cheesecakes. He was a U. S. Marine.



On November 4, 1995, he was married to Celia Linz in Meadville, Pennsylvania. She survives.



Other survivors include four children: Alex, June, Beth and Alexa; two stepchildren, Jerry and Jacob; and ten grandchildren.



He was preceded in death by his parents, Al Steininger and Anna Huber Steininger.



A funeral mass will be conducted Monday. May 26, 2008, at St. Benedict's Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m.
