Charles Lewis Keil, 63, of Doniphan, Missouri, died Tuesday, March 1, 2011, at his residence. Mr. Keil, son of John and Jessie (Sincox) Keil, was born February 11, 1948, in Lees Summit, Missouri. He was a mechanical engineer in the aerospace industry. Mr. Keil enjoyed politics and was a staunch Republican. He was in the U.S. Army from 1969 - 1975 with the 82nd Air Borne Division and served stateside during the Vietnam War. On March 28, 1992, he was married to Sheryl Sproul in Toledo, Ohio. She survives. Also surviving are one child, Amy Rademacher of Bloomington, Illinois; one sister, Cathy Keil of Scottsdale, Arizona; two brothers, Jim Keil of Lynch, Nebraska, and John Keil of Pleasant Hill, Missouri; and two grandchildren, Cooper and Carolyn. A memorial service will take place Saturday, March 5, 2011, at 1:00 p.m. at the Handy Church. Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.
