Bonnie Adams, 70, of Doniphan, Missouri, died Wednesday, May 7, 2008, at her residence.
Mrs. Adams was born April 7, 1938, in Doniphan. She was a retired nursing aide. Mrs. Adams liked walking, gardening, taking care of flowers and visiting with friends. She was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Doniphan.
She had been married to Bill Adams at Doniphan and he preceded her in death on August 11, 2003.
Surviving are one son, Charles Adams and his wife, Cindy, of Doniphan; three grandchildren: Robbie Adams, Jason McGonigal and Samantha Adams; two great-grandchildren, Destiny Adams and Hailey Adams; and one sister, Mary Jean Bingham of Poplar Bluff, Missouri.
Besides her husband, Mrs. Adams was preceded in death by her parents, Nathan Timmons and Effie Bond Timmons; four sisters: Clara Ormsby, Dorothy Stiber, Algia Lucas and Viola Cope, and three brothers: Jimmy Timmons, Cecil Timmons and Johnny Timmons.
Visitation will be Thursday evening, May 8, 2008, from 5 - 8 p.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will be Friday morning, May 9, 2008, at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in the Doniphan City Cemetery.
