Obituary of Stella Sims

Stella Fern Sims, 85, of Doniphan, Missouri, died Thursday, April 24, 2008, at the Ripley County Memorial Hospital.
The youngest of thirteen children, Mrs. Sims was born February 14, 1923, at Memphis, Missouri. She was a public school payroll clerk and was of the Methodist faith.
On May 20, 1943, she was married to Merlin Charles Sims at Chicago, Illinois. He preceded her in death on January 15, 2000.
Surviving are three daughters: Linda McDonald and her husband, Jim of Doniphan, Merilyn Kurtzweil and her husband, Kurt of Magnolia, Texas, and Gail Snyder and her husband, Jack of Buckeye, Arizona. Several grandchildren and great-grandchildren also survive.
Private family services will be held Monday, May 5, 2008, at Phoenix Memorial Park in Phoenix, Arizona.
