Timothy James Kelso, 64, of St. Charles, Missouri, died Monday, July 15, 2013, at the St. Joseph Hospital in St. Charles.
Mr. Kelso, son of Harley and Kathleen (Pruitt) Kelso, was born June 2, 1949, in Concord, Tennessee. He was employed for 38 years in manufacturing with Alco Controls in Maryland Heights, Missouri. Mr. Kelso enjoyed fishing, hunting gardening and especially being with his family.
He was married to Sonja "Candy" Schisler in St. Louis, Missouri, on July 7, 1979, and she survives.
Also surviving are three daughters; Karen (Tim) Hardgrave of Doniphan, Missouri, Kim (Eric) Young of O'Fallon, Missouri, and Jamie (Dean) Storie of St. James, Missouri; nine grandchildren, Chris Coin, Ben Coin, Leslie (Kevin) Downs, Sarah Kelso, J D Young, Cameron Young, Dalton Storie, Dylan Storie, Julie (Roy) Richardson and one on the way; one great grandson, Abel Richardson, and one on the way.
Mr. Kelso was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Hester Kelso, and two grandchildren, Joshua Coin and Keegan Kelso.
Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 19, 2013, at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brother Hubert Payne officiating. A private burial will be held at a later date.
In lieu of live plants or flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
