Arlene Asilom Smith, 58, of Doniphan, Missouri, died at Southeast Health of Ripley County on Saturday, June 15, 2013.
Mrs. Smith, daughter of Damian Rebucas and Ana Rosario Amigleo (Torrecampo) Asilom, was born February 2, 1955, in Davao City, Philippines. She had worked for the Philippines Government.
On February 24, 2003, she was married to Virgil Smith in the Philippines and he survives.
Also surviving are two children: Christine Smith and John Smith and their father Christopher Lawrence and his brother Wilfredo; five step-children, Virgil Smith, Jr., Rory Smith, Henry Smith, Hansel Smith and Herby Smith; nine brothers and sisters; and seven grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will take place Wednesday evening, June 19, 2013,starting at 4:00 p.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will follow at 6:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brother Sean Kallner officiating. Burial will be in the Missouri Veteran's Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri.
