Obituary of Lee Bolin

Lee Jennings Bolin, 98, formerly of Doniphan, Missouri, died Sunday, June 2, 2013, in Seasons Care Center in Kansas City Missouri.
Mr. Bolin, son of Herkless Lee and Camelia Eveline (Shaver) Bolin, was born February 24, 1915, in Reyno, Arkansas. He had been an office mechanic for the U. S. Treasury.
He was married to Clara White on May 24, 1941, in California, Missouri, and she preceded him in death on August 22, 2003.
Surviving are two sons: Sam (and Lynn) Bolin of Huntsville, Alabama, and Dan (and Vera) Bolin of Raytown, Missouri; five grandchildren, Trina Shults, Keith Bolin, Joy Mountjoy, Lisa Abbitt and Cherie Meeks; and fourteen great-grandchildren, Halee, Justin, Lauren, Austin, Katrina, Zoey, Chaiya, Zeke, Kealey, Zander, Karadyn, Samantha, Lillian and Ashley.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, one daughter, Ruth Ann Bolin and one grandson, Raymond Lee Bolin.
Visitation will begin Sunday afternoon, June 9, 2013, at 1:00 p.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brother Bob Featherston officiating. Burial will be in the Doniphan Cemetery.
