Nickie Alan Dodd, 63, of Doniphan died Thursday May 23, 2013, at John J. Pershing VA Hospital in Poplar Bluff.
Mr. Dodd was born February 22, 1950 to Marvin H. & Patricia (Ryder) Dodd St. in Burbank, CA. He worked as an auto mechanic and enjoyed restoring old vehicles and CB Radios.. Mr. Dodd served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Conflict.
On September 2, 1979, he married Lynda Wallis in Las Vegas NV. She survives.
Other survivors include two sons David Oxford of Altus AFB, OK and Jesse Dodd of Doniphan; three sisters Sharon, Sheila, & Janice; three brothers Paul, Marvin H. Jr., & David, four grandchildren and his Father Marvin H. Dodd Sr..
Mr. Dodd was preceded in death by his mother and one brother Michael Dodd.
Private family services are scheduled at a later date.
