Obituary of Sr. Tillman

Gary Lynn Tillman, Sr., 54, of Fairdealing, Missouri, died Thursday, March 27, 2008, at St. Francis Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Mr. Tillman was born September 19, 1953, at St. Louis, Missouri. He was an operator of a handle mill. Mr. Tillman was a member of the North America Hunting Club, NRA and the Trail of Tears Church. A U. S. Marine, he enjoyed hunting and being with his family. On, July 24, 1976, he was married to Donna Smith in Doniphan. She survives. Also surviving are four sons; Gary Lynn Tillman, Jr., Brian Keith Tillman, Michael Scott Tillman and Garrett Tyler Allen Whitlock Tillman, all of Doniphan; one daughter, Amanda Kay Tillman of Doniphan; two sisters, Violet Richmond and Jeannie Richmond, both of Doniphan; two brothers, Jerry Tillman and Billy Joe Tillman, both of Doniphan; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Perry Tillman and Alice Borth Tillman, and one sister, Mary Ann Tillman. Visitation will be Monday evening, March 31, 2008, from 5 - 8 p.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will be Tuesday, April 1, 2008, at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home chapel with Brother Johnny St. Cin and Brother Hubert Payne officiating. Burial will follow in the Brooks Cemetery.
