Donald Ray "Don" Thomas, 74, of Oxly, Missouri, died Sunday, May 12, 2013, at the Current River Nursing Center in Doniphan, Missouri.
Mr. Thomas, son of Clarence and Jesse (Quigley) Thomas, was born June 2, 1938, in Moark, Arkansas. He had been a barber for many years and was employed in maintenance. Mr. Thomas enjoyed deer hunting and being with his family.
On January 11, 1985, he was married to Mona Ormsby in Doniphan and she survives.
Also surviving are three children: Angela Anderson, Terry Kelly and Scott Hudson; 12 grandchildren including two special granddaughters, Rashelle and Kelsey, Rickie, Tascha, Amanda, Ashlyn, Bailei, Brittnei, Richelle, Donny, April and Nyoka; 12 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Ralph Thomas of South Carolina.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Donald Ray Thomas, Jr., one sister, Gertie Campbell and one brother, Bill Thomas.
Visitation will be Thursday, May 16, 2013 from 5-7 P.M. at the Edwards Funeral Home.
