Obituary of Bob Patrick

Arthur Robert "Bob" Patrick, 76, of Doniphan, Missouri, passed away Monday, March 25, 2013, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. Mr. Patrick, son of the late Arthur and Mary (Hanna) Patrick, was born August 22, 1936, in St. Louis. He was a former owner/operator of the Doniphan Ice Company. Mr. Patrick was a member of the county law enforcement having served as a deputy officer and had also taught law. He was a past master of the Masonic Lodge and enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and landscaping, especially with flowers. He was of the Baptist faith and attended His Place Church in Doniphan. Mr. Patrick was a veteran of the U. S. Marine Corps. He was married to Norma Frye on June 2, 1962, in Clayton, Missouri, and she survives. Also surviving are one son, Mike Patrick of Doniphan; three daughters, Dani James of St. Charles, Missouri, Tara Patrick of Los Angeles, California, and Tracy Silvey of Dallas, Texas; and eight grandchildren, Drew, Amelia, Caden, Hopper, Palyn, Lily, Phillip and Danielle. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Joanna Hill. Visitation will be held Thursday evening, March 28, 2013, from 5 - 8 p.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will follow on Friday morning, March 29, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brother Ben Jordan officiating. Burial will be at the Towles Cemetery with full military honors.
