Manuel Lee Nance, 86, lifelong resident of Grandin, MO died Sunday March 17, 2013, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Nance was born Tuesday November 16, 1926 to the late William Edward & Mary Eva (Ritchey) Nance.
On Saturday April 26, 1947 he married Ona Flo Roam in Clay County Arkansas. She survives.
Mr. Nance was of the Baptist faith. Served in the U.S. Army in World War II. He enjoyed spending time with his wife and taking scenic car rides.
Survivors include one son Larry & wife Phyllis Nance of Granite City, IL one daughter Margaret Lee Nance Kearbey of Ellisnore, daughter-in-law Anna Nance. 14 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Mr. Nance was preceded in death by his parents, one son Gary Manuel Nance and several brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be from 5-8 pm Wednesday March 20 2013 at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. Funeral service will be Thursday March 21, 2013 at 11 AM at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. Burial will be in Grandin City Cemetery.
