Bentley Maxine Ponder, 7 months old, of Doniphan, Missouri, died Sunday, March 10, 2013, at St. Louis Children's Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.
Little Bentley, infant daughter of Sierra Ponder and Kyle Wilder, was born August 6, 2012, at the Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.
Surviving are her parents, Sierra and Kyle, of Doniphan; maternal grandparents, Greg Ponder of Doniphan and Sherri (Tomes) Ponder of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; paternal grandparents, James and Wendy Wilder of Doniphan; maternal great-grandparents, Dorothy Ponder of Doniphan and Leonard and Frances Tomes of Poplar Bluff; paternal great-grandparents, Lee Stout of Doniphan and Wilma Ortega of Las Vegas, Nevada; five uncles, Mason Ponder, Brooks Ponder, Nathan Wilder and James Wilder, all of Poplar Bluff and Brandon Wilder of Doniphan; and one aunt, Britney Wilder of Doniphan.
She was preceded in death by her maternal great-grandfather, Chester (Bud) Ponder, and paternal great-grandfathers, Cal Wilder and Alfred Carson.
Visitation will be Thursday evening, March 14, 2013, from 5 - 8 p.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will take place on Friday afternoon, March 15, 2013, at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brothers, Robbie Hale, Ben Jordan and Rod Adkins officiating. Burial will be in the Amity Cemetery.
