Cecil "Ed" Milburn, 83, of Fairdealing, Missouri, died Thursday, February 28, 2013, at his residence. He was born September 27, 1929, in St. Louis, Missouri, to Albert and Roxie (Kessinger) Milburn. Ed was a retired truck driver and security guard as well as a volunteer at Cardinal-Glennon Hospital in St. Louis. He was a member of Good Hope General Baptist Church at Grandin and was a former mason. Ed enjoyed playing cards, riding his four-wheeler, traveling, company and being with his grandchildren. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army having served 4 years of duty. On October 5, 1968, he was married to Betty Jane McClintock and she preceded him in death on January 22, 2004. On June 10, 2007, he married Barbara (McLeod, Price) who survives. Also surviving are 2 sons; Charles Milburn of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, and Joseph Milburn of Hawaii; 3 daughters, Yvonne Milburn of St. Louis, Kimberly Alsobrook of Pacific, Missouri, and Lori Milburn of Union, Missouri; one step-daughter, Jackie Williams of West Union, Illinois; one brother, Albert Damon Milburn of Pahrump, Nevada; 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; a special cousin, David & wife Terri Milburn; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers - James, Gene and Carl, and one sister, Hazel Kerbel. Visitation will be Monday evening, March 4, 2013, from 5 - 8 p.m. in the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will follow Tuesday morning, March 5, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home chapel with Bro. Pete Joplin officiating. Burial will be in the Macedonia Cemetery.
