Obituary of Gary Nance

Gary Manuel Nance, 60, of Doniphan, Missouri, died Monday, February 4, 2013, at his residence in rural Doniphan. Mr. Nance, son of Manuel and Flo (Roam) Nance, was born September 23, 1952, in Doniphan. He had worked at Vitronic Manufacturing as a machinist prior to his illness. Mr. Nance loved to hunt and fish and especially enjoyed being with his family, particularly his grandchildren. On May 31, 1995, he was married to Anna Townsend at Doniphan and she survives. Also surviving are his parents, Manuel and Flo Nance of Grandin, Missouri; four children, Tina (and Kevin) Wilkins and Amy (and Mike) Alexander, both of Ellsinore, Missouri; Tammy (and Grady) Robinett of Doniphan and Dorothy (and Billy) Brisher of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; one sister, Margaret Kearbey of Ellsinore; one brother, Larry Nance of Granite City, Illinois; and twelve grandchildren, Kris, Kraig, Brandan, Shyla, Madalynn, Alonzo, Josab, Grady Clark, Gracie, Anna, Emma and Cohen. Visitation will be held Friday, February 8, 2013, from noon until 2:00 p.m. in the Edwards Funeral Home at Doniphan. A graveside service will follow at 2:30 p.m. in the Grandin City Cemetery with Brothers William McDowell and Donnie Sanford officiating.
