Jason Andrew Drane, 39, of St. Joseph, Missouri, died Friday, January 11, 2013, near North Platte, Nebraska. Mr. Drane, son of Gerald and Beverly (Roberts) Drane, was born September 7, 1973, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. He was an operations manager in the agricultural field. Jason graduated from Poplar Bluff High School with the class of 1991, and received an Associates Degree from Three Rivers College in 1993. He received his Engineering Management Degree from the University of Missouri-Rolla in 1997. Jason was an active member of Ducks Unlimited. Surviving are one son, Rylan Andrew Drane, 7, and one daughter, Kendra Grace Drane, 5, both of St. Joseph; his parents, Gerald and Beverly Drane of Poplar Bluff; and two uncles, John Drane of Poplar Bluff and Chuck Roberts of Jackson, Missouri. He was formerly married to Angelia (Ard) Drane of St. Joseph, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, A. H. "Doc" and Frances Roberts and Cora Ellen Boze. Visitation will begin at noon Saturday, January 19, 2013, at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Tommy Sivils officiating. Burial will be in the Hunt-White Cemetery in Doniphan. A Celebration of Life will take place Thursday evening, January 17, 2013, starting at 6:00 p.m. at the Moila Country Club , 701 North Noyes, in St. Joseph, Missouri.
