Obituary of Loretta Tripp

Loretta Joan Tripp, 73, long time resident of Ripley County, Missouri, died February 11, 2011, at Jefferson Regional Medical Center, in Festus, Missouri.
Mrs. Tripp, daughter of the late Omer and Ethel (West) Miller, was born January 5, 1938, in Gideon, Missouri. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Tripp enjoyed sewing, crafts, reading books and studying her Bible everyday.
She was married to Jimmie Lester Tripp on May 12, 1956, in Mississippi. He preceded her in death on February 7, 1981.
Mrs. Tripp is survived by three daughters; Angela Jones of Doniphan, Missouri, Lana Cox and Gabrielle Pundsack both of DeSoto, Missouri; two sons, Jimmie Tripp of Nebraska and Shane Tripp of St. Louis; and six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Tripp was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Jewel Miller, Omer Miller and Charles Miller and two sisters, Genny Whitt and Juanita Mangold.
Visitation will begin Tuesday, February 15, 2011, at noon at Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan with the funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Brother Howard Casteel will be officiating and burial will be in the Belleview Cemetery.
