Dona F. Walker, 97, a lifelong resident of Ripley County, MO died December 13, 2012 at Current River Nursing Center in Doniphan, MO .
Mrs. Walker daughter of the late William David & Nora (Cambell) Miller was born September 28, 1915 in Pine, MO. She was a housewife and Mrs. Walker was a member of the Doniphan Church of Christ and enjoyed farming, gardening, canning, and loved her dogs.
In 1935, she was married to Ted R. Walker. He preceded her in death on December 1, 1982.
Surviving are a son: Sammy (Debbie) Bell of Dexter, MO; two sisters Freida Williams and Wilma Jean Anderson; two grandchildren Steven (Christine) Bell and Sandy (Jarret) Ficke jall of Doniphan and four great-grandchildren Steven, Kellar, Wyatt, & Shaylee; many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Walker was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters Glea, Maggie, & Hazel, and two brothers Harry & Howard.
Visitation will be from noon to 2 PM Sunday December 16, 2012 at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. Funeral service will be Sunday December 16, 2012 at 2 PM at the Edwards Funeral Home with Steve Sanders officiating. Burial will be in Pine Cemetery.
