Obituary of Larry Sopko

Lawrence John "Larry" Sopko, 45, of Roseville, California, died Wednesday, January 9, 2008, at Sutter Hospital in Roseville.
Mr. Sopko was born May 25, 1962, at Flint, Michigan. He was a sales manager in manufacturing and enjoyed car racing. He loved animals and walked and trained them at the Placer SPCA.
On February 28, 1996, he was married to Mary Holliday in Maui, Hawaii. She survives.
Also surviving are his mother, Carole Marie Parks; two sisters, Kathy (and Doug) Gabel of Pueblo, Colorado, and Theresa Sopko of Burt, Michigan; two step-sisters, Marla Martin and Carla Martin both of Swartz Creek, Michigan; four brothers, Patrick (and Mari) Sopko and Stevan Sopko both of Doniphan; Michael (and Teresa) Sopko of Fairdealing, Missouri, and Matthew (and Debbie) Sopko of Bonne Terre, Missouri.
He was preceded in death by his father, Andrew Anthony Sopko, one step-brother, Keith Martin and his step-father, Wink Martin.
A public funeral will be Tuesday, January 15, 2008, at 10:00 a.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Marvin Richards officiating. Burial will follow in the Pilgrim's Rest Cemetery.
