Wilma Leroux Stevens, 94, of Bonne Terre, Missouri, formerly of Doniphan, Missouri, died November 8, 2012, in Farmington, Missouri.
Mrs. Stevens, daughter of Arthur and Mary (Crook) Leroux, was born May 15, 1918, in Doniphan, Missouri. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Stevens attended the Logan Creek General Baptist Church and was a life-time member of the Doniphan V. F. W. Ladies Auxiliary Post #3485. She enjoyed gardening, quilting and raising flowers.
On May 1, 1944, she was married to Steve Stevens in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He preceded her in death in 1999.
Surviving is one daughter, LaDonna Smith and husband, Don, of Bonne Terre; one sister, Jane Diekemper of Doniphan; and one brother, Dr. Gene Leroux of Doniphan; five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
Mrs. Stevens was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Rejeana Stevens-Stone, one sister, Alta Knowlton and three brothers, James "Bud" Leroux, Garold Leroux and Austin Leroux.
Visitation will be from 11 am to 1 pm Saturday November 10th at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. Funeral service will be Saturday November 10th , 2012 at 1 PM at the Edwards Funeral Home. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery in Doniphan.
