Hillard Wyatt Green, 77, of Doniphan, Missouri, died Tuesday, November 6, 2012, at the Doctors & Nursing Rehab Center in Salem, Illinois.
Mr. Green, son of Hillard Gilbert and Bessie Beatrice (Hufstedler) Green, was born June 20, 1935, in Doniphan. He had owned and operated several service stations and was self-employed as a truck driver. Mr. Green had been a member of the Missouri National Guard.
Surviving are three daughters, Judy Nierman of St. Louis, Missouri, Beth Johnsen of St. Peters, Missouri, and Diana Green of Calhoun, Georgia; one son, Wyatt Green of Doniphan; his mother, Bessie Green of Doniphan; six grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Hillard Gilbert Green, his wife, Alda Fern Green, and one sister, Beth Ann Green.
Visitation for Mr. Green will take place Saturday evening, November 10, 2012, from 5 - 8 p.m. in the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, November 11, 2012, at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with burial to follow in the Johnston Chapel Cemetery.
