Obituary of Jerry Kitchen

Jerry Lee Kitchen, 58, of Doniphan, Missouri, died Sunday, October 28, 2012, at The Med in Memphis, Tennessee. Mr. Kitchen, son of Harold Kitchen and Mildred (Pyles) Kitchen Barnett, was born October 3, 1954, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. He had been a transmission re-builder. Mr. Kitchen enjoyed computers and playing and singing with the guitar. He was a Christian. Surviving are four children; David Kitchen, Michael Kitchen and Nathania Futrell, all of Doniphan and Jimmy Washburn of Michigan; his mother, Mildred Barnett of Doniphan; one sister, Charlotte Stewart of Ft. Leonard Wood, Missouri; three brothers, Jim Kitchen, Gary Kitchen and George Kitchen, all of Pontiac, Michigan; and ten grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Kitchen; two children, Johnny Kitchen and Daniel Washburn; and one brother, Harold Kitchen, Jr. Visitation for Mr. Kitchen will be Friday afternoon, November 2, 2012, beginning at 1:00 p.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will follow at 2:30 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brother Charles Carr officiating. Burial will be in the Price Cemetery.
