Mau Blossom, 72, of Doniphan, Missouri, died Tuesday, December 25, 2007, at her residence.
Ms. Blossom, daughter of the late Charles Valvo and Marie Higgins Valvo, was born July 9, 1935, at Caldwell, New Jersey. She was a self-employed midwife.
Ms. Blossom was a member of the Doniphan Book Club and the NAMI Family to Family Training. She enjoyed kayaking, drum circle, music and making drums.
She is survived by her life-long partner, Sasha Daucus, of Doniphan.
Visitation will begin at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, January 12, 2008, at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral services will follow at 3:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Gene Weinbeck and Lois Reborn officiating.
Burial will be held at the Golden Light Cemetery.
