Edna Mae Earl, 88, of Doniphan, MO, formerly of Marion, IL, died Monday, October 8, 2012, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center, Poplar Bluff, MO. Funeral services will be 5:00 P.M. Sunday, October 14, at First Church of God, Doniphan, MO, with visitation beginning at 2:00 P.M. until service time. Graveside services will be 1:00 P.M. Monday, October 15, at Herrin City Cemetery, Herrin, IL. Memorials may be made to the donor's choice. Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL, will be handling the arrangements. Edna Mae was born December 25, 1923, in Marion, IL, the daughter of Alfred and Ethel (Meracle) Bradley. She married LeRoy Earl January 1, 1942, in Marion, IL. He preceded her in death February 10, 1997. Edna Mae always enjoyed singing in the church choir, and in her early years, she sang with the Golden Key trio at many Southern Illinois churches. In later years, she and her husband formed and sang in the Lordsmen Quartet throughout several states. She was a member of First Church of God, Doniphan, MO, and a former member of the Women's Club of Herrin, IL. Edna Mae's greatest passions were loving her family and serving her Lord. Edna Mae is survived by her children, Randall L. Earl and wife Evelyn of Decatur, IL; Marlene Simpson and husband Bob of Herrin, IL; Darla Clayton and husband Terry of Pauls Valley, OK; Larry Earl and wife Zella of Doniphan, MO; grandchildren, Colleen Perry and husband Toby of Springhill, TN; Janice Earl of Decatur, IL; Jeremy Clayton and wife Dana of Cape Girardeau, MO; Bradley Simpson and partner Kelle Barrick of Durham, NC; Leah Mullins and husband Chris of Ringgold, GA; John Earl of Shreveport, LA; great grandsons Samuel and Zachary Perry; Jim and Ty Clayton; and one on the way in January; brother Bill Bradley and wife Debby of Herrin, IL; half brother Dean Wade and wife Doris of Marion, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother, and one sister.
