Karen Babe McNew, 56, of Fairdealing, Missouri, died Tuesday, December 4, 2007, at the Ripley County Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. McNew was born November 27, 1951, at Oxly, Missouri. She was a housewife.
She was married to Richard Lee McNew of Doniphan, Missouri, on April 28, 1968, at Rockford, Illinois. He survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Della Kaye Redus of Maynard, Arkansas; three sisters, Kathy Hudson of Goleta, California, Judy Kinnard of Rockford, Illinois, and Mary Smith of Doniphan; one brother, Perry Hudson of Naylor, Missouri; and four grandchildren, Caleb McNew of Gatewood, Missouri, and Valerie Redus, Angela Redus and DeAnna Redus, all of Maynard.
Mrs. McNew was preceded in death by one son, Roger McNew, her parents, Ivan Hudson and Bonnie Emma Leonard Hudson, one sister, Terry Hudson, and two brothers, Tony Hudson and Jamie Hudson.
Visitation will be Friday, December 7, 2007, from 5 - 8 p.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will be Saturday, December 8, 2007, at the funeral home chapel at 10:00 a.m. with Brother Wes Hudson officiating. Burial will follow in the Naylor Cemetery.
