Billy Gene McClintock, 80, of Doniphan, Missouri, died Wednesday, September 26, 2012, at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. Mr. McClintock, son of Raymond and Fay Eileen (Phillips) McClintock, was born September 8, 1932, in Doniphan. He had been an auto mechanic and was minister and founder of Lingo Freewill Baptist Church. Mr. McClintock enjoyed woodworking and had a special interest in the historical enactment of Ripley County Civil War Days and Timberfest. On August 1, 1953, he was married to Joyce Marilyn Langlois at Detroit, Michigan. She preceded him in death on December 4, 2003. Surviving are two daughters, Deborah March of Doniphan and Diana Street of Gatewood, Missouri; two sons, Larry McClintock of Poynor, Missouri, and Paul McClintock of Seattle, Washington; one sister, Mary Rowe of Michigan; one brother, Samuel McClintock of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Fay McClintock, his wife, Joyce McClintock and one grandson, Zack McClintock. Visitation for Mr. McClintock will be Friday evening, September 28, 2012, from 5 - 8 p.m. at the Lingo Freewill Baptist Church near Doniphan. The funeral service will start Saturday morning, September 29, 2012, at 10:00 a.m., also at Lingo Freewill Baptist Church with Brother Riley March officiating. Burial will be in the Johnston Chapel Cemetery.
