Dorothy Bell Page, 91, of Cuba, Missouri, died Thursday, November 1, 2007, at DePaul Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. She had been a life-long resident of Doniphan, Missouri. Mrs. Page was born November 19, 1915, at Alton, Missouri. She was a hospital dietician and was a member of the Doniphan New Life Pentecostal Church for over 27 years. Mrs. Page enjoyed quilting and was a wonderful cook. On July 3, 1929, she was married to Lawrence Edward Meadors at Ponder, Missouri. He preceded her in death on October 28, 1984. Surviving are six sons, Lawrence "Sonny" Meadors, Guy Omer Meadors, Carel Lee Meadors, Darrel Meadors and Eddie Meadors, all of Doniphan and William Meadors of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; six daughters, Marie Tucker of Doniphan, Flossie Vaughn of Springdale, Arkansas, Mearel White of Pubelo, Colorado, Juanita Anderson of Cuba, Doris Tucker of Staunton, Illinois, and Peggy Norton of St. Charles, Missouri; two brothers, Oscar Deckard of Muscogee, Oklahoma, and Noel Deckard of Hardy, Arkansas; 46 grandchildren, 90 great-grandchildren and 62 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Harley Deckard and Grace Tillman Deckard; one sister, Georgia Mays; and one brother, Omer Deckard. Visitation will be Saturday, November 3, 2007, from 5 - 8 p.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will be Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m. at the Doniphan New Life Pentecostal Church with Brother Harold Sheppard officiating. Burial will follow in the Doniphan City Cemetery.
