Robert James "Bob" Davis, 47, of Doniphan, Missouri, died Saturday, October 27, 2007, at the Ripley County Memorial Hospital in Doniphan.
Mr. Davis was born June 24, 1960, at Litchfield, Illinois. He worked at Dalton Lumber Company and enjoyed working on his land.
Surviving are one son, Dustin (and Kathryn) Davis, and one daughter, Jessica (and Randy) Gribble, both of Doniphan; his father, Cletus L. Davis of Doniphan; one sister, Tina Sheppherd of St. Louis, Missouri; two brothers, Virgil Davis of Doniphan and David Lee Davis of Broomfield, Pennsylvania; and three grandchildren, Jaushua Gribble, Christopher Gribble and Nathan Carlisle all of Doniphan. Another grandchild, Nicholas Jay Davis, will be born in January, 2008.
Visitation will be Tuesday, October 30, 2007, from 5 - 7:30 p.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will follow at 7:30 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brother Alan Wilson officiating. A private burial service will take place at a later date.
