Laura Lee Jones, 44, of Doniphan, Missouri, died Monday, August 13, 2012, at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.
Mrs. Jones, daughter of Wilson and Shelia (Jones) Griffin, was born September 22, 1967, in St. Louis, Missouri. She was a disabled homemaker. Mrs. Jones enjoyed bowling, the outdoors, Current River and being with her family. She attended Logan Creek General Baptist Church.
She was married to Mark Jones on December 1, 2007, at Good Hope Church in Grandin, Missouri, and he survives.
Also surviving are five children; David (and Ashley) Reynolds of Paragould, Arkansas, Clarence "Augie" Ritchey of Grandin, and Rustie Ritchey, Hayle Ritchey and Kayle Ritchey, all of Doniphan; two sisters, Teresa Griffin of Grandin and Kellie (and Richard) Kearbey of Ellsinore, Missouri; one brother, Junior Griffin of Grandin; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilson and Shelia Griffin.
Visitation for Mrs. Jones will be Wednesday evening, August 15, 2012, from 5 - 8 p.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will start at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday afternoon in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Curtis Crowley officiating. Burial will follow in the Good Hope Cemetery.
