Obituary of Richard Lane

Richard L."Bud" Lane, 80 year old resident of Doniphan, died Thursday, June 21, 2012 at the Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, MO. Mr. Lane was born April 21, 1932 in Truman, AR. He had previously served in the US Navy and was a farmer.
On July 9, 1955, in St. Louis, MO he was married to Bonnie Smith Lane. She survives.
Also surviving are one son Randy Lane and his wife Jayne of Hershey, PA, one sister, Mary Jane George of Michigan City, IN; two brothers, William Lane of Doniphan, and Terry Lane of Arkansas; and one grandson, Ian Lane.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Rose Lane; one sister, Rosie Glass, and one brother, Merle Glass.
Funeral services for Mr. Lane will be held at 1:00 PM Sunday, June 24, 2012 in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with Steve Sanders officiating. Burial will be in the Ponder Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday evening from 5-8 PM.
