Robert Harold Ball
Robert Harold "Bob" Ball, 75, of Doniphan, Missouri, died Wednesday, September 26, 2007, at his residence.
Mr. Ball was born October 11, 1931, at Jackson, Missouri. He had worked at Current River Ford in Doniphan and was a former propane gas truck driver as well as a carpenter. Mr. Ball was a member of the Current River Country Club and the Church of Christ. A. U. S. Army veteran, he enjoyed his family, golfing and barbecuing.
He was formerly married to Connie Pettit and she survives.
Also surviving are one son, Brian (and Kim) Ball of St. Augustine, Florida; two daughters, Sherry (and Shawn) Bond and Diane (and Elmer) Littrell, both of Doniphan; one brother, Edwin W. Ball of Doniphan; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Mr. Ball was preceded in death by his parents, Urbann Sutton Ball and Ethel Smallwood Ball; one sister, Wanda Byrd; and one brother, Everett Ball.
Visitation will be Friday, September 28, 2007, from 5 - 8 p.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will be Saturday morning, September 29, 2007, at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home chapel with Brother Jerry Richardson officiating. Burial will be in the Pine Cemetery.
