Venita "Ann" Kenner
Venita "Ann" Kenner, 78, of Doniphan, Missouri, died Saturday, September 22, 2007, at the Current River Nursing Center in Doniphan.
Mrs. Kenner was born December 27, 1928, at Van Buren, Missouri. She enjoyed sewing, reading and listening to bluegrass music.
On January 4, 1946, she was married to Joseph "Gene" Kenner at Pocahontas, Arkansas. He preceded her in death on October 15, 1959.
Mrs. Kenner is survived by three daughters, Donna Robinson of Doniphan, Viola Redus of Sharon, Wisconsin, and Virginia Simkins of Pocahontas, Arkansas; one sister, Cleta Cinnamon of Streeter, Illinois; eleven grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Kenner was preceded in death by one son, Vernon Kenner, her parents, Charles "Chick" Duncan and Viola Horner Duncan and five brothers, Bob Duncan, Jack Duncan, Gene Duncan, Slim Duncan and Charles Duncan.
Visitation will be Tuesday, September 25, 2007, beginning at 11:00 a.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home, Inc. in Doniphan. A graveside service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the Shirley Cemetery with Brother Denver Jackson officiating.
