Geralene Fagan, of Doniphan, Missouri, died Thursday, April 26, 2012, at Corning Therapy and Rehab Center in Corning, Arkansas.
Mrs. Fagan, daughter of William and Margaret (Boren) Cates, was born July 7, 1918, in Gatewood, Missouri. She had retired from Vitronic Manufacturing as an inventory clerk. Mrs. Fagan was a member of the Doniphan Church of Christ and enjoyed gardening, quilting and cooking.
On October 7, 1934, she was married to Coy Fagan. He preceded her in death on March 19, 1995.
Surviving are one daughter, Mary Lou Boyd and her husband, George, of Doniphan, Missouri; two grandsons, Greg Boyd of Lee Summit, Missouri, and Shawn Boyd of Doniphan, Missouri; and four great-grandchildren, Alex and Steven Boyd of Lee Summit, Missouri, and James and Sophia Boyd of Doniphan, Missouri.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Margaret Cates, her husband, Coy Fagan, four sisters, Easter Milner, Willie Douglas, Opal Wright and Georgia Fagan, and one brother, Homer Cates.
Visitation will take place Monday morning, April 30, 2012, from 9:30 - 11:00 a.m. A graveside service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the Doniphan City Cemetery.
