Obituary of Louie Dell Hudson

Louie Dell Hudson, 78, of Doniphan, Missouri, left this world on Saturday, November 30, 2024, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.

Louie, son of Leaman and Leona (Redus) Hudson, was born April 25, 1946, in Doniphan, Missouri.  He started Hudson’s Backhoe Work in 1970 and worked for 54 years.  He enjoyed 4-wheeler rides and being out on Current River.

Louie was married to Donna (Poe) on July 30, 1966, in East St. Louis, Illinois, and she survives. Also surviving is one son, Steven Hudson of Doniphan, MO.  He has three brothers, Lonnie Hudson of Current View, MO, Leon Hudson of High Ridge, MO, and Lynn Hudson of Doniphan, MO.

Louie was preceded in death by his big brother, Leroy Hudson, and his parents, Leaman and Leona Hudson.

Visitation will be Monday, December 2, 2024, from 5-8 p.m., at Edwards Funeral Home with funeral services beginning at noon on Tuesday, December 3.  Burial will be at New Home Cemetery.
