Terry Lynn Hastings, 66-year-old resident of Doniphan, MO, departed this life on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, MO. He was born June 10, 1958, in Doniphan to William Edmund Hastings and Thelma Edith (McKinney) Brown.

 

Terry was a hardworking man who spent most of his life as a sawmiller, working in the timber industry. His strong work ethic was matched by his love for the outdoors, especially hunting.

 

Surviving are his sons, Terry (Kelli) Hastings and Larry Joe (Megan) Hastings, both of Doniphan; a sister, Susie Rogers of Mountain Grove; brother, Gordon Hastings of Doniphan, and grandchildren, Jacob and Sadie.

 

Terry was preceded in death by two brothers, William Hastings, Jr. and Gary Hastings, and three grandchildren, Haidyn, John, and Lily Hastings.

 

Honoring Terry’s request, no services will be held.
