Esteban “Steve” Nunez-Rios, 51, of Poplar Bluff, MO, departed this life Monday, November 11, 2024. He was born July 6, 1973, in Chicago, IL, to the late Lino & Beatriz (Nunez) Rios and was adopted and proudly raised by Esteban & Catalina (Medina) Nunez.

Steve had been a butcher with several supermarkets and worked at Vitronic, Steve enjoyed shooting darts and gaming.

On October 2, 1999 in Watertown, WI he married Dana Brannum.  She survives.

Other Survivors include, his children, Sylvia (Alex) Frey of Poplar Bluff, Katalina Nunez-Rios of Fairdealing and Graciana Nunez-Rios of Poplar Bluff; and a brother Gabriel Nunez of Watertown, WI. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.

A memorial visitation will be held Friday, November 22, 2024 in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel from 4-6 PM.
