William Dean Roam, 80, departed this life Thursday, October 10, 2024.  He was born December 13, 1943, in Doniphan, MO, to the late Reagan and Genevie (Thompson) Roam.

Dean, as he was known by his friends and family, loved hunting, fishing and watching westerns.  He was a retired chimney man.

Surviving are his children, Billy Don Roam of Grandin, MO, Joedy Roam of Doniphan, MO, and Michael (Lisa) Roam of Grandin, and a sister, Sherion Williams of Grandin.  Also surviving are 10 grandchildren: Dakota, Courtney, Maya, Benjamin, Olivia, Dereck, Thomas, Skylar, Dylan, and Vincent and 6 great-grandchildren, with one on the way.

In addition to his parents, Dean was preceded in death by a daughter, Stephanie Dawn Roam, a brother, Sherman ‘Sonny’ Roam, and a sister, Shirley Black.

A graveside service will be held in the Grandin-Carter County Cemetery on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at 2:00 p.m.
