Obituary of Glenda Mae Slusher

Glenda Mae Slusher of Eureka Springs was born in Poplar Bluff on September 27, 1944, to Glen and Marjorie (Ogilvie) Porter. Glenda passed away October 5, 2024, in Springdale at the age of 80.

 

She was a former officer in the VFW and American Legion in Doniphan, Missouri. Glenda loved the holidays so she could have dinners with her family. She enjoyed the outdoors and loved to travel. Glenda was also a huge St. Louis Cardinals fan.

 

Glenda is survived by her children Keith Maloy and wife Tammy, Penny Badley, Karen Paddock and husband Doug, Kevin Nelson and wife Rose, Chris Dicken and wife Kathy; grandchildren Shana Maloy, Brad Andrews, Ryan Andrews, Jennifer Smith, Ashley Clark, Valarie Bader, Alicia Bippus, Dylan Seehusen, Jason Seehusen, Bethany Tibbs, SaraLynn Dicken, Bailey Dicken and Aiden Dicken, Connor Dicken, Kala Dicken, Cassandra Dicken; twenty- seven great grandchildren; sister Judy Burnett; brother Terry Porter and wife Sherry; along with nieces, nephews and other family members and friends, especially her favorite casino buddy Ted Scates.

 

Visitation will be 9:00 am till 10:00 am, Saturday, October 12, 2024, at Edwards Funeral Home. Celebration of life service will follow at 10:00 am.
