It's been a few year's since I've had the pleasure of John's company. He always had a story to tell and always had a smile, coupled with his easy goin' attitude towards others. RIP our ol' friend! My sympathies to Ruth, James and all his family. God Bless... ❤️

Sweet memories from my childhood of John and his family. We were neighbors and one summer, all the kids on the gravel road played ball in his yard. His mother, such a good neighbor, hosted all of us country kids for reading classics aloud and she served store bought cookies that were such a treat. As the decades passed, I would see John, still a neighbor to my parents, from time to time when back in Doniphan. We would stop annd talk on the gravel road to home or he would bring an paClare of deer meet to my folks. I always knew that John would go out of his way to help my family. Thankful for the memories. God bless all who loved him with peace and comfort.
