Obituary of Frankie Hoefer
Frankie dedicated her career as a nursing assistant in the labor and delivery unit at Doctors Regional Medical Center, where she touched many lives with her compassionate care. In her free time, she enjoyed crocheting and playing cards. Frankie was of the Church of Christ faith.
On March 25, 1956, Frankie married Boyce Hoefer in Doniphan, MO, and he survives. Also surviving are her children, Debbie (Jim) Russell of Ellsinore and Boyce Hoefer, Jr. of Poplar Bluff, MO; a sister, Peggy Smithson of Kennett, MO; and grandchildren, Tenea (Jeff) Lowman of Sedalia, MO; Blake (Kelly) Eaton of Poplar Bluff; and three great-grandchildren, Hannah, Alex, and Zaydyn.
In addition to her parents, Frankie was preceded in death by a daughter, Delores Eaton, and a great-grandchild, Blair Cassidi Eaton.
Visitation will be held in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, September 30, 2024, beginning at 11:00 a.m. with the funeral service to follow at noon. Brother Dustin Wilson will be officiating, and burial will be in the Wilson Cemetery.
