Darrell E. Roark, 47-year-old resident of Doniphan, MO, departed this life Monday, August 19, 2024, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, MO. He was born June 6, 1977, in St. Louis, MO, to the late Lloyd Roark and Vivian (Russell) Pinnell.

Darrell loved being outside and had a lengthy list of favorite activities including fishing, kayaking, and hunting. He also enjoyed work if it included being outdoors. Darrell had served in the United States Marines.

On March 30, 2019, Darrell married Ashley Thompson in Doniphan. She survives. Also surviving are his children, Dylan Roark of St. Peters, MO, Brooke (Nathan) Holcomb, Landyn (Serena Wyatt) Roark, Chase Koch, and Cooper Roark, all of Doniphan; a sister, Holly Pinnell of Farmington, MO; a brother, Andy (Malinda) Roark of Fairdealing, MO; three grandchildren, Alexis, Madison, and Colten; and a grandpup named Coco.

Visitation will be held in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, August 24, 2024, beginning at 10:00 a.m. with the memorial service to follow at 11:00 a.m.

Memorials may be made in Cooper Roark’s name to Peoples Community Bank.
