Tracy Ann Shroud, 51, departed this life Monday, July 22, 2024. She was born February 12, 1973, in St. Louis, MO, to Jerry Wayne Jackson and the late Lois Starlene Jackson.

Tracy loved kids and animals. Anything that had to do with the Disney Company and Productions brightened her day and brought her joy. Frogs had captured her heart, and she collected frog décor. Tracy was a gifted writer with a variety of stories to share. She enjoyed playing online games and had developed many friendships due to her interactions there.

Tracy was married to Gerald Shourd. He survives. Also surviving are her daughters, Patricia Tomlinson of Williamsville and Tina Burns of Puxico; a sister, Jerri Lea Manning of Garden City, MO; and brother, Brian Jackson of Doniphan; as well as six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Tracy was preceded in death by her mother, Lois Starlene Jackson; stepfather, Max Hoefer; a sister, Teressa Jackson Watson; and a brother Tony Jackson.

The family will have a private memorial at a later date.
