Ronnie Dean Bailey, Sr., 75-year-old resident of Doniphan, MO, departed this life Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, MO. He was born March 17, 1949, in Manila, AR, to the late Harry Reno and Pleasant (McCullough) Bailey.

Ronnie was a journeyman painter who found reward in building and painting a variety of structures and bringing buildings back to life with a fresh coat of paint. He accented that love with his green thumb. He loved to plant flowers around his property. Also, on Ronnie’s list of favorites was to watch scary movies.

Surviving are his children, Jessie Bailey of Mokane, MO, April, Karen, Sharon, and Ronnie Dean Bailey, Jr.; sisters, Jean Epperson of Grandin, MO, Joyce J. Washington of Charleston, MO, and Linda Nunn of Sikeston, MO; and a brother Phillip Bailey of Anniston, MO.

In addition to his parents, Ronnie was preceded in death by his brothers, H. E. Bailey and Harry and his wife, Tina, Bailey, and a sister, Judy Combest.

The family will have a private memorial at a later date.
