Karen Sue Parsons, 61, of Poplar Bluff, MO, departed this life, Sunday, June 30, 2024, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, MO. She was born September 4, 1962, in Walnut Ridge, AR, to William R. and Dorothy (Cox) Huckabee.

Karen had served patients through her work with American In-Home Health Care. In her free time, she liked to relax by watching a good TV show or using her coloring apps. Spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, was always a priority and time she cherished and held dear.

Surviving are her children, Josh Parsons and Felicia Parsons, both of Poplar Bluff, MO; sisters, Lisa Collins and Tela Huckabee; brothers, Joe Huckabee, Isaac Huckabee, and Keith Huckabee; and her mother, Dorothy Huckabee. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Richelle, Harley, Wade, and Anna.

Karen was preceded in death by a sister, Christina Morris, and her dad, William Huckabee.

Visitation will be held in the Edwards Funeral Chapel from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 11, 2024.
