Ronald Lee Wolverton, 64, of Doniphan, MO, departed this life Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, MO. He was born March 3, 1960, in Rockford, IL, to Wilma (Miller) Ketchum and the late Willie Wolverton.

Ronald had been a territory manager in auto sales which was a perfect career for him due to his love of automobiles, especially muscle cars. Ron liked to explore flea markets and attend auctions, watching for a rare find.

In addition to his mother, Ron is survived by a daughter, Sherri (Nathaniel) Harvey of Woolrich, ME; sisters, Brenda (Frank) Gualtieri of Gurnee, IL and Julia Fernandez of Sikeston, MO; and his grandchildren, Cecilia, Joshua, and Victoria. He is also survived by nieces, Kerri, Kristin, Danielle, Karysah, Kendra, and Knikita; great-nieces, KeiAirah and Khrystionna; a great-nephew, Kingston; aunts, Pat Pepmiller and Nancy Carson; and an uncle, Will Miller.

In addition to his father, Ron was preceded in death by a brother, Willie Wolverton, Jr.

Visitation will be held in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, April 20, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with a graveside service to follow at the Naylor Masonic Cemetery at 11:30 a.m.
