Obituary of Bill Roberts

William “Bill” Howard Roberts, 88, of Piedmont, departed this life Friday, January 19, 2024, at St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, MO. He was born September 30, 1935, in St. Louis, MO, to the late Henry and Rosalie (Brewer) Roberts.

Bill had been a truck driver and car salesman. He loved living in the Piedmont area and enjoyed all the opportunities living near Clearwater Lake offered, especially boating and four-wheeling.

In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his son, Monty Roberts, and daughter, Diana Meyer.

Surviving are his grandchildren, Angela Brown, Raymond Meyer, II, and Staci Bodkin; great-grandchildren, Brandon Meyer, Ellie Harlow, and Levi Harlow; a great-great-grandchild, Shane; and son-in-law, Raymond Meyer.

Visitation will be held in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, January 27, 2024, beginning at 10:00 a.m. with the funeral service to follow at noon. Burial will be in the Doniphan City Cemetery.
