Obituary of Larry Titus

Lawrence “Larry” Russell Titus, 81-year-old resident of Doniphan, MO, departed this life Friday, November 17, 2023. He was born June 20, 1942, in Otsego, MI, to the late Lee and Irene Celia (Nichols) Titus.

Larry loved life and his calm, kind, loving, and outgoing personality made him many friends. He attended the Doniphan United Methodist Church and considered his church family as dear friends and family. He loved being a greeter to friends, family, and newcomers. He was an avid Elvis Presley fan and loved listening to all of Elvis’s music.

Surviving are his family members, James and Glenda Emery and Wanda Lowery; nieces, Jamie Snodgrass and Kay-la Emery; nephew, Anthony Campbell; and great-niece, Alay-na Hellman. Also surviving is his church family.

Larry was the last of eight children in the family to pass.

Visitation will be held at the Doniphan United Methodist Church on Saturday, November 25, 2023, beginning at 1:00 p.m. with the funeral service to follow at 3:00 p.m. Brother Kent Wilfong will be officiating. Burial will be in the Mountain Home Cemetery in Battle Creek, MI.
